Electrical Work We Handle on New Builds and Renovations

New Build Electrical Fitout
Complete fitout from slab to handover. Rough-in during framing, switchboard installation, circuits for power, lighting, data and air conditioning, final fix and testing. Certificate of Electrical Safety on completion.
Renovation & Extension Electrical Work
Renovations frequently expose older wiring that no longer meets current standards. We assess what can be retained, integrate new work cleanly, and wire extensions to AS/NZS 3000 with appropriate switchboard capacity.
Switchboard Upgrades & Capacity Planning
Older boards with ceramic fuses or insufficient capacity are not suitable for modern loads and will not pass inspection. We upgrade switchboards as part of the project scope with provisions for EV charging, solar and air conditioning.
Lighting Design & Installation
Downlights, pendants, dimmers and external lighting positioned at rough-in stage. Repositioning after plasterboard is costly. We advise early and circuit for maximum flexibility at fit-off.
Power Points, Circuits & Appliance Connections
Power point placement, dedicated circuits for ovens, cooktops and dishwashers, and hard-wired connections for rangehoods and heated towel rails. Circuits planned to AS/NZS 3000 minimum requirements.
Data, Communications & Network Cabling
Rough-in is the right time to run Cat6 data cabling. We install data points, structured cabling to a central patch panel, TV points and access point provisions. Running cabling after plasterboard significantly increases cost.
EV Charger & Solar Provisions
We run conduit and dedicated circuits during construction so EV or solar connections can be made later without opening walls or trenching. A small upfront cost avoids a much larger one down the track.
Safety Switches, Smoke Alarms & Compliance
Safety switches on all circuits and interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms are required on all new and significantly altered installations in Victoria. We ensure compliance with AS/NZS 3000 and the Building Code of Australia.

We work to your construction programme, attending for rough-in, fit-off and any intermediate stages as required. We coordinate with your builder and other trades and communicate proactively if anything on site affects the scope or timeline.

All circuits tested before handover and the site left clean. You receive your Certificate of Electrical Safety for all prescribed work — the documentation required for building permit sign-off and future reference.
